Google Music?

technology — Tags: , — boredandblogging @ 12:45 am

The bloggers at zdnet think there is going to be a Google Music service. Hopefully it doesn’t use the music interface in Google Desktop, which sucks pretty bad. More rumors from SearchEngineWatch as well. If this and notebook have some decent interfaces, they are going to kick Yahoo! and MS in the pants.

  1. Well, I also hope they do it better than Google Video. The content is OK, not great I guess, but the front page is for crap! Plus, whenever I’m going to see “something neat” video-wise, I am noticing the link is to YouTube most of the time.

  2. I think Google tried to go with a simplified UI style like they do with most of their products, but it didn’t turn out well for Video.

I don’t understand why Google Video displays in full-screen when the videos don’t have the resolution for it. They end up looking awful. YouTube is doing it right.
